Mariam Musse

Mariam Musse (she/her) is a Policy and Research Analyst at the Office of the Federal Ombudsperson for Victims of Crime. She has led and contributed to several key initiatives focused on strengthening victims’ rights and improving access to justice, including the OFOVC’s special report Strengthening Access to Justice for Victims of Hate Crime in Canada and the systemic investigation Rethinking Justice for Survivors of Sexual Violence. With a background in Social Sciences and Victimology, Mariam works to address systemic inequities and strengthen traumainformed, accessible justice pathways for victims of crime.
